New Zealand Lambs, Canterbury quality. 361 b and under, 10Jd; 371 b to 421 b. lOJjd; 431 b to 501 b. 9£d; seconds. 9£d; selected brands. 361 b and under. 108 d: 371 b to 421 b, 10id; other brands, first quality, 361 b and under. 10Jd: 371 b to 42ib. tOd; second quality, 301 b to 321 b average, 9Zd New Zealand Beef.—Ox fores. 3Sd: hinds, s}d; cow fores, 31d; hinds, 51d. Argentine Chilled Beef.—Ox fores. 41d; hinds, 7}d. Frozen Pork.—Porkers, 601 b to 801 b, 8d; 811 b to 991 b, 7d; 1001 b to 1201 b, 7d: baconers, 1211 b to 1801 b, 7Jd. Lamb—Market firm for prime lambs. Prices have declined for second-class lambs.
Mutton.—Wethers, market quiet and unchanged: ewes, market slightly easier. Beef.—Market is easier owing to heavier supplies.
