CHEAPER SUGAR

NOW £2l A TON FIFTH REDUCTION THIS YEAR The finest grade of sugar has been reduced to £2l a ton, the lowest price for several years. The Colonial Sugar Refining Company has announced a reduction of 10s a ton on all grades, excluding only the icing and tablet varieties. Five reductions have now been made this year, and the price is £ 210 s below what it was at the end of last year. The fourth reduction was made at the beginning of August, but with the latest drop, sugar is £4 10s a ton cheaper than it was in January, 1927.
