INSULTED PORTERS

SEAMAN FINED £1 Kenneth Stoddart, who had too many drinks yesterday, insulted the railway porters who tried to bar his way to the platform, and was fined £1 at the Police Court this morning., CTODDAET, who is a seaman, aged 53, was charged with being disorderly while drunk. Constable Hanna said that Stoddart was interfering with the porters who were taking tickets at the barrier before the departure of the second express. He had used abusive language.
