MIGHT MAKE AMENDS
The Ballin trotter Sarsaparilla has been a big disappointment to his party for some time past, and he has cost more than the more expensive beverage, champagne. Time and again he Has been backed and beaten, not because he has no pace, but because he will not go solid in his races. Some day will do it right, and then there will be refunds made. The small fields at Wellington may suit him, and it would not occasion surprise to see him “square off” by landing the double.
