BROKE PROBATION TERMS MAN FOR SENTENCE "He was admitted to probation ■for two years at Hamilton last February. Some time ago he deserted his wife and left for Wellington with another man's wife.” At the Police Court this morning the maintenance officer, Mr. W. J. Campbell, told something of the history of -Uthur William* Geoffrey Mold, a labourer, aged 24, who pleaded guilty to breaking terms -of his probation order. ‘ In Wellington this man’s companion tried to get the action withdrawn by impersonating Mrs. Mold/’ concluded Mr. Campbell. Sentence was deferred until September 20, when Mold will appear before the Court on a charge of theft. An application for maintenance and guardianship will also be heard on that date.
