LevensonGower’s team in the second innings made 212 for two (Hobbs, 119 not out), and won by eight wickets. In the match Gentlemen v. Players the Gentlemen in the second innings made 211. Freeman took six for 37. The Players in the second innings made 259 for five (Woolley, 141 not out). The Players won by five wickets.
