Hockin. of Hamilton, has been appointed medical superintendent ! of the Waikato Hospital, out of eight ! applicant, in succession to Dr. G. W. | Gower. Dr. Hockin, who is only 36 years of age, is at present deputy-super- ! intendent at the hospital.
