REWARD for lost mascot (Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. Eingsford Smith pins his faith in black cats. The one which, pinned to his helmet as a mascot, flew the Tasman with aim is lost and the airman is offering £lO for its recovery. When the Southern Cross landed at the Wigram airdrome yesterday the crowd went wild tcith excitement and a fete rushed the plane for souvenirs, oovie even tried to scrape off small pieces of paint. one man got off with a value able prize—Kingsford Smith s hl/ing helmet.
