EVERYBODY’S
“THE GOODBYE KISS” Another big comedy will head the new programme to be presented tomorrow evening. This is “The Goodbye Kiss,” a feature length comedy presented by Mack-Sennett. Sennett, veteran of slapstick and comedy features, has gained a reputation for clean-cut and clever humour that has never been excellde on the screen, and it is said that this newoffering has qualities that place it far in the lead of any of his previous undertakings. Sally Ellers si the girl in the story; Matty Kemp is the boy, and Johnny Burke supplies enough comedy for two multiple-reel films. “The Good-bye Kiss” is replete with startling developments, beginning with a runaway horse pursued by a racing motor-cycle, and ending with the explosion of 20 tons of dynamite. The picture is well balance, however, for the spectacular bits are blended with a delightfully adroit mingling of romance and comedy. The second attraction to-morrow will be “The Little Adventuress,” featuring Vera Reynolds. In the story she elopes with the wrong man and, when she discovers her error, things happen. Victor Varconi is featured as leading man, and the strong supporting cast includes Phyllis Haver.
