PICTURES BY WIRELESS

TRANSMISSION IN BRITAIN British Official "Wireless . RUGBY, Sunday. As a result of technical experiments made with the wireless transmission of still pictures by the British Broadcasting Cox-poration and the General Post Office, a short picture transmission will be made daily from Daventry, SXX, outside the regular programme hours, beginning in October. If and when there is a sufficient public demand for still pictures radiated in this way, transmission will be included in the regular programme hours. The fultograph system will be used. This should not be confused with what is commonly known as television, which is in no way involved in the series of experiments.
