TUDOR, REMUERA
“LA BOHEME” “La Boheme,” the story of the great opera, heads the new programme to be shown at the Tudor Theatre, Remuera, this evening. A notable cast was collected to play this great story, as it includes Lillian Gish, John Gilbert, Renee Adoree and Karl Dane. The story tells of a young playwright who saves an ailing young seamstress from eviction by paying her rent. She repays him by selling his play. He suspects her of infidelity and she vanishes out of his life, only to return, after the play has triumphed, to die in his arms. “Something Always Happens,” an exciting mystery story, starring Esther Ralston, will also be shown.
