VAUDEVILLE AND PICTURES
Lefty Flynn is the star in the powerful story “Glenister of the Mounteds,” to be shown at the Empire Theatre this evening. A thrilling race for life before the storm-fanned crest of a forest fire, and the solving of an intricate w r eb of circumstantial evidence in which the Jives of a man and a woman are entangled, are only two of the more spectacular features of this great picture. The alternate conflict of emotion that faces a policeman, torn between loyalty to his - oath and love for the girl for whom he holds a murder warrant, afford unlimited scope for 'Flynn’s remarkable acting. An excellent vaudeville programme is also being presented, headed by Wilson and Miller, in their celebrated acrobatic act, featuring living statuary and feats of strength. Other items will be by Keg Rusher, the whistling tenor, Roy Newton, the parody king, C. Palmer, ballardist, and Wally Harrison, novelty instrumentalist.
