HEENEY IN GENTLE MOOD

TOM HEENEY, who follows a fairly vigorous occupation, was in a gentle mood yesterday, when he went to the hospital to visit a sick countryman. The New Zealander, who injured his back while working on a farm in Canada and came back to Auckland a cripple, a few months ago wrote to Tom on his arrival. Yesterday afternoon Tom found a break in his social engagements to call at the hospital and have half an hour’s chat with the invalid.
