AT DIXIELAND
The new rose-shaded soft lighting [ effects at Dixieland Cabaret added to ihe charm olfi the evening last {Saturday night, when a large numoer of uancers attended. Music was provided uy Dixieland Dance hand. Among those present were:— Miss Corsan, or uisborne, frock of apricot taffeta trimmed with gold lace. Mrs. Bert Jones, irocK of cyciamen snot taifeta. Miss Keofoed, silver lace dress over white crepe de chine. Mrs. 11. Graham, gown of cherry coloured velvet with skirt of gold lace over cherry and green. Mrs. Petersen, frock of orange lace over orange-coloured crepe de chine. Miss Jean Greham, frock of apple green georgette and taffeta. Miss Minnie Wright, gown of silver lame, with skirt of white georgette trimmed with silver and white roses. Miss B. Andreassen, frock of shell pink georgette trimmed with silver lace, and pink and silver flowers. Miss Haszard, frock of flame and gold georgette trimmed with lace. Miss T. Cox, gown of turquoise blue crepe de chine with rainbow skirt. Miss Berridge, gold and flame coloured Liberty silk dress. Miss M. Puck, frock of shell pink beaded georgette. Miss Margaret Beale, of Tauranga, old gold and green shot taffeta. Mrs. Robinson, gown of silver lace over pink georgette. Miss Didsbury, beige lace frock over creep de chine. - Mrs. C. Emmanuel, rose and silver brocade gown. Miss Pike, frock of black ring velvet. Miss P. Barker, frock of cerise crepe de chine trimmed with diamante. Mrs. McCully, gown of silver lame with skirt of black georgette. Miss MeCullard, balck georgette gown with coloured floral trimmings. Miss Adam, black georgette frock relieved with Oriental lace. Miss Freely, gown of floral lame with j skirt of fuchsia georgette. Miss L. Eide, frock of blue taffeta trimmed with silver lace. Miss B. Regan, gold tinsel frock with flower at shoulder. Miss M. Clifford, pale pink beaded georgette gown, and white shawl. Miss Edgcumbe, reseda green and sil- . ver brocade frock with a hem of lace. Miss Boyd, powder blue georgette gown I trimmed with silver lace. Miss Beatty, rainbow brocade frock j with black georgette skirt. Miss Bailey, frock of buttercup yellow ring velvet. Miss Bradley, white georgette frock trimmed with silver lace. Miss Allen, rose coloured georgette gown with oriental lace flounce. Miss Burt, champagne georgette frock trimmed with ecru lace. Miss D. Moirs, frock of mauve taffeta. Miss I. Underwood, twilight blxie crepe de chine and lace frock. Mrs. George Harley, gown of jade green georgette relieved with silver lace. Miss Coppard. rose georgette and chiffon velvet gown. Miss G. Cooper, frock of white georgette trimmed with French flowers. Miss Wingate, gown of white chenille velvet. Miss Mitchell, frock of black ring velvet relieved with coloured flowers. Mrs. Newdick, gown of oriental crepe de chine with frinered skirt. Miss J.
