FUNCTION AT P.APAROA
A presentation was made at Papartu to Constable Boag. who is being transferred to Xew Lynn after being IS years in charge of the Maungatur.fi> police district. Mr. K. Coates, chairman of the ot*. matea County Council, on behalf »• subscribers, presented Mr. Koag with a set of brushes, and Mrs. Boag witt a silver cake dish. He voiced the district’s appreciation of the capable aij efficient work done by the ilepaitit: constable. In reply. Constable Brc. referred to the district's freedom frolarrikinism. and said the paren: should be proud of the character of young people.
