FARM STUDENTS ON TOUR
ARRIVAL STUDYING SETTLEMENT Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. A party of five student farmers, who are touring- the Empire to see conditions of farming for themselves, arrived in Wellington by the Makura today. They are Messrs. Smailes, senr., Smailes, jun., Plutte, Rex and Kelsey. They will spend 15 days in the DominThe party is investigating the possibilities of Empire migration under the overseas settlement scheme which is fostered by Mr. L. S. Amery, Secretary of State for the Dominions. They have already visited South Africa and Australia.
