WAIKATO EAST AND HINUERA (From Our Oxen Correspondent.) MATA MATA, Saturday. Th© third annual meeting of the Waikato East Tennis Sub-Association was held at Tirau, Mr. J. Keane presiding. Officers were elected as follow: Patron, Mr. C. E. McMillan, M.P.: president, Mr. J. Keane; vice-presi-dents, Dr. Laurenson and Messrs. W. Seitle, C. G. Gauntlett, F. Rose and S. J. Parker; committee, Messrs. G. Wilson, H. Conder, A. Bassett, D- Ward. W. Oates and the Rev. W. T. Brabyn. auditor, Mr. A. H. Duke son; secretary, Mr. A. C. Thompson. At the annual meeting of the Hinuera Tennis Club officers for the coming year were elected as follow: —Patron. Mr. F. F. Hockly, M.P.; president. Mr. T. Corry; vice-presidents, Messrs. Green, Oates, Hopkins and Pond; auditor. Air. W. Settle; club captain, Mr. J. F. Morrow; vice-captain, Mr. J. H. Conder; committee, Messrs. H. Settle, Conder. Oates, Germann, Collins, Hawke. Alesdames H. Settle. Hancock and Menzies; delegates to Waikato East Association, Messrs. Conder, Oate, Settle and Corry. Air. H. Settle was appointed chairman of the new committee and Mr. W. IL Oates secretary.
