MEDICAL LECTURE

HEART AND BLOOD CIRCULATION The first of two public lectures arranged by tlie Auckland Institute and the British Medical Association will he given on the above subject by Dr. E. B. Gunson in the University College Tlall on Monday evening. The lecturer will recount the history of the discovery of the working of the heart and the blood system, especially with the famous researches of Galen and Harvey. He will also deal with such matters as blood pressure and the control of the circulation by the nervous system. The lecture, which will be illustrated by lantern slides, will be open to the public.
