TUDOR, REMUERA
“THE OPENING NIGHT” Clara Bow, the vivacious and beautiful littlo star, is seen at her best in “Red Hair,” the comedy to be shown again this evening at the Tudor Theatre, Remue**a. In “Red Hair’ Clara Bow is truly the madcap of the screen, for she romps through a series of romantic incidents in an hilarious and fascinating manner. She falls madly in love with a youth named Robert Lennon, but her bad name as a “gold digger” prejudices the boy’s three guardians against her. “The Opening Night,” the second attraction, is a remarkable study of a man who. because of his cowardice at a shipwreck, was afraid to go home and face his wife and friends. Claire "Windsor is the leading player.
More than forty police dog« appear in “Under the Black Eagle,” which will be released shortly throughout New Zealand. The picture shows the heroism of the police dogs during the World War, especially on the RussoAustrian front in the province of Gallicia. The picture contains a beautiful romance between a young officer and a nurse. The. role of the officer is portrayed by Ralph Forbes and that of the nurse by Marceline Day.
