BAPTIST TABERNACLE

BIG SERVICES TO-MORROW The Auckland Baptist Tabernacle will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Sunday school at a series of services in the Town Hall to-morrow. In the morning, at 11 o’clock. Dr. J. J. North will preach on the subject of “Father and Son.” At 2.45 a mass meeting will be held for young people, the Rev. A. W. Bean, of Epsom, giving the address. At this meeting special items will be given by the children of the school. In the evening the big evangelic service will be held, and at it the music will be providde by the Tabernacle chorus choir, augmented by a chorus of children’s voices. The Rev. Joseph W. Kemp will preach a sermon on “The World’s Hope.” Special solo musical items have been arranged for the service.
