Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. A proposal to raise a loan of £220.0'“' for expenditure on city streets, over period of four years, was submitted the ratepayers to-day, and carried 3,599 votes to 1.363. Informal numbered 312. The total number entitled to vote was 27,339.
