NEWMARKET TRAM STOPS

NO FLOATING SECTION The subject of Newmarket tram stops was again before the City Council last evening, a deputation from the Newmarket Council having n° et the Tramways Committee. The deputation discussed tram stops and the possibility of a floating section on the inward journey. The May* Mr. S. Donaldson, stated to the cotmmittee that the borough was wait** for sanction for a £1,200 loan, whic* would enable it to carry out its portion of replacing the tracks in Broadway. If the council would not grant a floating section Newmarket would have to further consider the place for the section ending. The committee recommended that £ floating section be not agreed to, amthis was adopted by the City Councu.
