WIN TER Healthful, sparkling, snappy winter days ! . . . And the roads are beckoning! The hills and the 'valleys are staging the passing pageant of the trees. Crackling leaves glint with a thousand shades of red and gold, as they twirl in a last defiant dance before • the leaden march of winter. Head your motor out where woods and restful fields flow by and the city is only a distant skyline. Reap the mellow harvest of autumn sunshine. Let each breathful of crisp bracing air store up new energy against the long indoor hours to come. For your winter motoring use this easy starting new Union Motor Spirit WINTER days are cold days. They offer you still another test of the remarkable qualities of the new Union Motor Spirit : Cold starting. Throw in the starter and instantly this easy-vaporis-ing spirit stirs your motor into action. What’s more, it remains in action. It won’t “ die ” after the first few revolutions—a common occurrence with ordinary spirits. It doesn’t pop, cough and sputter. No repeated churning of the starter. No heavy drains on the battery. No long uneven running. No excess crankcase dilution. Union gets right down to the business of driving the pistons with vim and regularity. The easier starting qualities, as well as the greater power and smoothness of the new Union Motor Spirit are due to an entirely new combination of petroleum elements—obtained from various types of crudes. It represents the cleanest, rangiest and most perfectlybalanced all-round spirit you have ever used. Try it 1 UNION MOTOR SPIRIT NON DETONATING « . m r~ [US-1 S-28]
