THE ROSKILL ELECTORATE

Sir, — I would like to voice my objection to the selection of Miss Melville as the official Reform candidate for the above electorate. I can remember the selection made just before the Eden by-election. Miss Melville on that occasion protested loudly and fluently on the way the Reform Earty had treated her. If Miss Melville had had the patty’s interests at heart surely she would have kept out of Eden byelection, instead of going in as a votesplitter? Miss Melville’s selection has caused a lot of dissatisfaction to many electors who would never vote for a woman candidate in any case. ROSKILL ELECTOR.
