FOUND DEAD IN BED

TRAGEDY AT PONSONBY WORRIED OVER ILLNESS Soon after 9 o'clock this morning Douglas Dudley, of Collingwood Street, Ponsonby, was found dead in bed by his wife. He was suffering from neuritis and confined to his bed. At 9.15 o’clock this morning Mrs. Dudley took her husband his breakfast. He seemed quite well then. Some time later she again went into the room and found him dead. There was a severe wound across the throat. Mr. Dudley had a large family. He was employed by the Auckland Harbour Board as a winchman, but he had been ill for some time and was considerably worried. An inquest will be held.
