STUDENTS’ DANCE
CATHOLIC GUILD FLOWER DECORATIONS There was a large attendance of members and visitors at the AJanchester Unity Hall last evening, when the Catholic Students’ Guild held their annual reception and dance. The hall was gaily decorated with streamers of blue and gold, which were festooned gracefully round the walls and ceiling. Bowls of spring flowers brightened the supper tables. For the non-dancers, bridge tables were set out in an adjoining room. The ladies on the committee included:— Airs G ii. Drysdale, brack frock of georgette heavily encrusted with ervstal motifs. Prendergast, black frock of embossed georgette, with diamante. Airs. Cyril Towsey, gown of gold brocade and black georgette, with drawn thread designs in gold. Airs. Iv. A. Snedden, frock of crocus pink satin beaute, with shawl. Airs. Flynn, black model of georgette. Mrs. J. Barrett, black frock of crepe alonza. Airs. L. Kingsland, black frock of georgette heavily beaded with scarlet and jade. Airs. J. V. Lawes, frock of black brocaded satin du soir. Airs. Cyril Hughes, black frock of crepe faille, with sunkist yellow motifs. Airs. D. Norton, champagne frock of pleated georgette. Airs. A. Fitzherbert, black frock of georgette, encrusted with sequins.
