HOCKEY CLUB PARTY

The members of the Rapatoetoe Radies’ Hockey Club held a very enjoyable social in St. George's Church 11 a!i, Landscape Road, Rapatoetoe, on Monday evening. In spite of the unfavourable weather, there was an attendance of over 40 couples, and a very gay evening was spent in dancing, games, and competitions. The M.C.’s were Messrs. K. Leonard and C. Cutforth. Musical items were given by Misses V. O'Hara and R. Lipscombe. duet, and Miss Leah Roseveare, elocutionary item. The competitions were won by Miss Burrill (2K Miss Grinter, and Miss E. Mayall. Among those present were: Mrs. Lowe. Mrs. F. H. Leonard, Mrs. Burl-ill, Miss K. Waters. Miss E. Snelling, Miss E. Mayall, Miss Dorrie Waters, Miss Burrill, Miss Fitness. Miss Mona Waters, Mias IST. Burrill, Miss X. Snelling, Miss G. Fitness, Miss Kingsford, Miss Gwen Leonard’ Miss I. Gow, Miss O'Hara, Miss M. Wakelin. Miss L. Roseveare, Miss Rona Lipscombe, Miss 13.
