EIGHT FRAUDS ADMITTED

CHEQUES ON HAMILTON BANK THREE YEARS’ PROBATION Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. George Wallace Glidden Richardson appeared to-day in the Magistrate’s Court. Last week lie was found guilty on five charges of obtaining money by means of valueless cheques on the Union Bank at Hamilton and sentence was deferred until three further charges, dealing with offences committed in Wellington, were brought. Those three charges were heard this morning. Accused pleaded guilty to defrauding three Wellington business houses, the amounts being £5, £5 and £ 6.

He was admitted to probation for three years and ordered to make restitution of the total sum, £66, within the three years.
