THREE FOR UNITED PARTY (■Special to THE SUNJ WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Further candidates are announced for the November elections. Mr. Tuiti MacDonald, of Levin, who was narrowly defeated by Mr. Uru. in the Southern Maori electorate last election, has determined to oppose Mr. Uru again. Three United Party candidates announcecl are:—Mr. Gilbert Mac Kay, who stood for Hawke’s Bay last election, and is to run against Mr. Campbell, the sitting member: Mr. R. Clinkard, ex-Mayor of Rotorua, who is to oppose Mr. F. F. Hockly, and Mr. E. McGregor, solicitor, of Morrmsville, who is to offer liimself to the electors for the Thames seat.
