ROTORUA’S NEW SLOGAN
“BUSINESS. BATHS AND BEAUTY' 1 “Visit Rotorua for Business, Baths and Beauty” was the winning slogan sent in by Miss M. Mackay, of Thames, in connection with the Rotorua Retailers’ Association's carnival shopping week. At a meeting of the association on Monday it was decided to have a 32page programme printed, and to approach ‘the Borough Council for assistance in the decorations, and also to ask the Tourist Department for extra lighting during carnival week. It was also decided to hold a windowdressing competition, the public to he the judges.
