RUAPEHU AT W E L L I N GTO NTo complete her loading- the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the liner Ruapehu arrived at Wellington this morning from Timaru and sails at daybreak on Saturday for Southampton and London, via Panama. KAITOKE FOR AUCKLAND.—The local office of the Union Company have been advised that the collier Kaitoke is to leave Newcastle to-morrow afternoon for Auckland, where she is due next Wednesday. WAIPAHI LEAVES RAROTONGA. — Advice has been received by the local office of the Union Company that the Island fruit steamer Waipahi sailed from Rarotonga at 4 p.m. last Monday for Auckland, where she is due to arrive next Tuesday. CARGO FROM SOUTH AUSTRALIA. —Cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the steamer Kaitangata. en route from Adelaide, left Wallaroo last Monday and sails from Melbourne on Friday for Dunedin, Lyttelton, “Wellington and Auckland. She is due here about September 22. AORANGI NEARS SUVA.—Advice has been received by the local office of the Union Company that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi, en route from Vancouver and way ports, is expected to reach Suva at 1 p.m. to-morrow. She leaves the Fijian port the same afternoon for Auckland, where she is due next Sunday*! and at 2 p.m. the following, day she will continue her voyage from Auckland for Sydney. PAKEHA’S PROGRAMME.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that the steamer Pakeha commenced her loading at Port Chalmers yesterday and sails to-morrow for Lyttelton, thence Wanganui roadstead, Wellington, Napier, Waikokopu and Auckland. She is due here on September 21 and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on October 1 for London, via Montevideo - and Teneriffe. PASSENGERS ON NARKUNDA.—RusseII and Somers, Limited, have received advice that the following passengers for New Zealand are travelling by the P. and O. liner Narkunda, which is due at Sydney from London to-morrow:—Mr. Ward, Mr. Stear, Mr. Macpherson, Mr. and Mrs. and Miss Simson. and Miss Upton, Mr. Leak, Mr. and Mrs. Salmon Mr. Louslfey, Mr. Leva, Mr. Bullabli; Mr. Bhaga. PORT NAPIER'S FIRE.—The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company have been advised that the C. and D. Line's steamer Port Napier is expected to leave Suva to-day in continuation of her voyage from London to Auckland Dunedin and Bluff. She is due here next Monday. Advice has also been received that a general average is to be declared on the vessel's cargo on account of the fire which broke out in her No.'s 4 and 5 holds. The percentage, however, will not be. known until toward the end of this week. CANADIAN WINNER COMING.—The Canadian National Steamships steamer Canadian Winner is reported to have sailed from Quebec last Sunday with genral merchandise for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Auckland on October 12. The Canadian Winner is the second Canadian Government vessel to be dispatched from Canada with cargo for New Zealand at a freight rate of £1 a ton, weight or measurement at ship’s option. The Canadian Conqueror left Montreal on August 2(1 for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff.
