BACKWARD CHILDREN

CLASSES TO BE OPENED Special classes for backward children to be opened at Richmond Road and Onehunga have been recommended by the Education Department. A room in the infant department at Onehunga is available, and removal of partitions in a cottage at Richmond Road would make suitable accommodation. The Auckland Education Board was asked this morning to approve of an advertisement for teachers for the special classes. The board gave its approval.
