The New Zealand team will be
Lilburne Rushbrook, Lucas, Grenside Nicholls, Johnson. Scrimshaw. Dailey. Snow, McWilliams. M. Brownlie, Harvey, Finlayson. Hore, Hadley. Burrows will act as referee. In a short review of the tour, the manager, Mr. W. F. Hornig, said: “Taken all through, the tour has been most enjoyable. The hospitality from the Cape to Victoria Falls has been marvellous. It is a pity we could not accept it all. “The train journeys were most tedious, and after long trips the team more or less lost form. The spell the team had last week had a lot to do with thd win. “South African football is so strong that we could not risk putting in what we thought would be a comparatively weak team in any match. We had to put a strong team in all the way through. “We found the crowds impartial. In the last test the team played up to

to best New Zealand form. Every man excelled himself. “It was a clear-cut victory. After the first half hour there was only one team in it. It was a great match, and we deesrved to win a memorable game and a very strenuous one. The whole team is looking forward to getting back to New Zealand.”
CONGRATULATIONS EXCHANGED Press Association WELLINGTON. Tuesday. The following cablegram lias been received by the New Zealand Rugby Union from the South African Rugby Board: “Accept our hearty congratulations on the great victory richly earned, and a splendid finish to a successful tour.” The New Zealand Rugby Union replied as follows: “Your congratulations appreciated. Trust the tour has been successful in every way, and the friendships between both countries further cemented." A cablegram has also been sent to the team, heartily congratulating it on its splendid victory.
