NATION’S GOOD WISHES British Official 'Wireless. RUGBY, Sunday. The liner Orcoma, on which Sir Austen Chamberlain, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, is travelling to America for the benefit of his health, put in at La Rochelle yesterday.

Greetings and wishes for Sir Austen’s speedy recovery were conveyed to him on behalf of the President of France, M. Doumergue, and the Foreign Minister, M. Briand.

Ihe Orcoma is due to-day at San Sebastian. The Prime Minister of

Spain, General Primo de Rivera, lias addressed a cordial letter to Sir Austen wishing him a speedy recovery and expressing his regret that he is unable to present his wishes personally. It was General de Rivera’s original intention to visit Sir Austen on board the Orcoma, but in view of the British Minister’s state of health, he wishes to spare him any inconvenience. When the liner Orcoma, on which Sir Austen Chamberlain is making his health tour, touched Santander yesterday, King Alfonso went aboard to greet the British Foreign Secretary. He stayed for a few minutes on the deck, where Sir Austen was resting, and wished him a pleasant voyage and a speedy recovery to complete health. Sir Austen expressed his appreciation of the King’s sympathy and consideration.
