HOMAGE TO CARDINAL
LEVEE HELD IN SYDNEY SILENT TRIBUTE PAID /United P.A.—By Telegraph — CopyiTght) SYDNEY, Monday. The levee held by the Papal Legate, Cardinal Ceretti, at the Town Hall today was largely attended by a representative gathering. The hall was beautifully decorated with the Papal colours. Cardinal Ceretti was enthroned in the middle hall, where he took homage from the slowly-moving crowds as they passed by. There were no speeches, the crowds silently paying tribute to the representative of the Pope.
