ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL

The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland City and Suburban Football Association was held last evening, Mr. F. Pickering being in the chaii-. A deputation from the Business Men’s Committee was welcomed by the chairman. The various suggestions offered are now a matter for consideration. The Richmond Club secretary reported that a very successful dance was held to augment the funds of that club, and they are now in a satisfactory financial position. A similar function is being arranged during the month by the Bon Accord Club The treasurer’s report indicated that the finance of the association is m a very satisfactory position. The fixtures for Saturday are as follow:- —Thistle v. Celtic; Bon Accord V. Richmond. The Dickson Cup competition table is as follows:
