RUGBY IN THE NORTH
MATCH POSTPONED (From Our Oton Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, Monday. The Rugby match between North Auckland and the Northern Wairoa representatives, to have bb.-n played here to-morrow, has been abandoned. This decision was reached as a result of the North Auckland team’s strenuous match against Auckland on Saturday, and in view of the team’s match against Wanganui, to be played at Whangarei on Thursday, the authorities fearing that a game played here to-morrow might cause the players to go stale, and thus jeopar_.disQ their chances against Wanganui,
