The qualifying round over 36 holes of the senior and junior championships will be played at the Titirangi links on Saturday next, 16 to qualify in each grade. Entries will close on Wednesday. The final of the match play handicap for the Elliffe Cup was played by members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club on Saturday at One Tree Hill and resulted in a win for R. IT. Jones (25), who beat J. Gilmour (16), 4 and 2, after a good game. The qualifying rounds for the C grade championship were played at One Tree Hill on Saturday. Conditions were good, the course being in splendid order.
