POWER EQUIPMENT AT DEVONPORT This morning' the Waitemata Elec-tric-Power Board adopted a recommendation to proceed with the sale of the Devonport power plant. Tenders for purchase are to be called and will be returnable on September 22. Mr. F. J. H. Wilson, engineer, is to schedule the plant, for which provision has been made for sale at scrap price. Mr. Wilson said in his report to the board that the equipment for the synchronous condenser at Devonport had been dismantled. It is being at Helensville. o
