BECKETT’S BUDGET SUED (United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, Friday. Mr. T. D. Mutch, a Labour member of the Legislative Assembly, who was Minister of Education in the Lang Administration, has begun an action for alleged libel against “Beckett’s Budget.” He is claiming £5,000 damages for statements alleging that he was not fitted to hold Ministerial office, or to represent the people in Parliament. The hearing is not finished.
