POTTER—LOGGIE
Blue, in a delicate opal nuance was the colour chosen for the attractive frocking of a bride who was .married at the Baptist Tabernacle this week. She was Miss Minnie Treloar Boggle, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Loggie, of Islington Street, Ponsonby, and her groom was Mr. Stanley Vivian Potter, the second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Potter, of Newton Road. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Knowles Kempton and the bride was given away by her father. Mr. Leslie Potter attended his brother as best man. The bridal frock was of georgette, its blueness relieved with effective rhinestone embroidery, and over it fell the misty folds of a blue tulle veil, to which silver lovers’ knots gave added beauty. A cap of cloth of silver held the veil in place and a bouquet of white flowers completed the bride’s toilette. Three maids attended her, all clad in frocks of softly-blending blue shades. Miss Hilda Loggie, a sister, was bridesmaid, and her frock of georgette had floral motifs of rose and blue velvet on the skirt and velvet ribbons falling from the shoulders to the hem were caught in a bow at the waistline. She wore a bandeau of tulle and carried a blue bouquet. Two little flower girls, the Misses Ruth and Norma Hutchison, were dressed alike in finely-pleated blue chiffon, with tiny rosebud trimming, and* wore blue and primrose headdresses. Their posies were of primroses. The bride’s mother, who wore a gown of black crepe de chine with oriental embroidery, afterwards held a reception in Nairn’s Tea Rooms. Mrs. Potter, mother of the bridegroom, wore a frock of navy blue crepe faille, relieved with beige georgette.
