Miss Ethel Denness, sister of the bride, attended her wearing a dainty frock of orchid mauve georgette with a corsage of silken lace, which was accentuated bv inset panels of lace in the skSrt Her bandeau was of tulle, and she carried a bouquet of sweet peas and cyclamen, two little flower girls, Hazel and Madge Denness, twin sisters of the bride, also followed her, looking very piquant in their frocks of Princess Mary blue georgette, w ith bouffant trilled skirts and trails of small flowers at the waistlines. Each little attendant carried a fragrant posy of primroses. Mr. Carr acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother in St. Alban’s Road, where Mrs. Denness received a number of guests wearin" a Sown of black satin with an overdress of black and gold lace. She carried a bouquet of violets, chhuf* arr ’ navy and fawn crepe de Miss M. Denness, blue crepe de chine, finished with silver. Mrs. Grantley, cherry chiffon velvet, cherry lace shawl. Miss J. Grantley, rose pink crepe de chine and blue silk scarf. Miss N. Ashby, bois de rose velvet corsage and gold lace skirt. Mrs. Ashby, black char me use inset with silver lace. Miss C. Wintlirop, reseda creep satin and diamante. Mrs. Nairn, black crepe de chine and black satin coat. Mrs. Milligan, flame crepe de chine. Mrs. Gearey, floral crepe de chine and coffee lace. Miss M. Trainer, frock of rose tissue and georgette. Mrs. Thomas, powder blue georgette. Mrs. Bowles, opal blue taffeta frock. Mrs. P. E. Milligan, navy blue crepe de chine. Mrs. Freeney, black taffeta and black and white shawl. Miss Easton, salmon pink georgette and lace.
