DATES TO REMEMBER MONDAY— A reception will be given at Lyceum Club, Short’s Buildings, in honour of Mr. William Heughan, the Scottish Singer, at 8 p.m. Members only. TUESDAY— An at home will be held by the Auckland Students’ Guild in the Manchester Unity Oddfellows’ Hall, 8 p.m. THURSDAY— The Auckland Grammar School Old Boys’ and Girls’ Association will hold their annual bail in the Dixieland Cabaret, 8.30 p.m. An at home will bs held by the Auckland Advertising Club in Lewis Eady’s Hall, S p.m. FRIDAY— A dance will be given in St. Mary’s Hall, Parnell, in aid of a scholarship for the Queen Victoria School, 8.30 p.m. The bridge circle of the Lyceum Club will meet in the club-rooms at 7.30 p..m. SATURDAY— The fortnightly dance given by the Philistines’ Club will take place in the Amateur Operatic Society’s Hall, Grafton Road, 8 p.m.
