STOLEN AND BURNED

CAR TAKEN FROM CITY “JOYRIDERS” AGAIN A motor-car which was stolen from a city street was found burned at Mascot Road, Mangere, yesterday. The car was the property of Mr. M. Keady, of Richmond. Road, Westmere. It was stolen from Customs Street last Thursday. Last evening Mr. Basil R.. Arnott’s car was removed from Queen Street between the hours of 7.30 o’clock and 10. The theft was reported to the police, who recovered the missing car in Anzac Avenue at about 12.30 this morning. The car had not been damaged.
