Lott, paired with Miss Anderson, also defaulted, clearing the way for Marjorie Morrill (Boston) and Borotra to meet Helen Wills and Hawkes for the honour of meeting T ' , dith. Cross and Moon in the final. Lott and Hennessy defeated Cochet and Brugnon, 6—2, 6 —l, 6 —2, in the replayed semi-final match.
