MAGiSTRATE SUGGESTS PERJURY CHARGE j Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. At the Police Court to-day William Barns, a baker, was lined £5 in default of one month’s imprisonment on a charge of assault, and a further £5 on a charge of using indecent language The Magistrate, Mr. E. D. Mosley, said: “This man ought to be indicted for perjury. I hope the police will look into the matter.”
