POST-BOX THIEVES

TWO BREAKS REPORTED Thieves are still interfering with telephone boxes and post boxes in the city. Yesterday afternoon an official of post office discovered that the post box at the intersection of Albert Road and Great North Road had been broken open. It is thought that several letters have been taken. A telephone cabinet at the corner of Hobson Street and Wyndham Street was broken open. The coin container had been forced off and the pennies stolen.
