£2,£38 INVOLVED THREE MEN REMANDED Press Association. ELTHAAI. To-day. In the Police Court on FViday and Saturday further charges of theft and conspiracy against members of Newton King, Limited's, Kaponga branch, were heard before justices. Eleven charges of theft were preferred against Hector Harley Henderson, involving £463, and extending over four years from May, 1924. There were five fSieft charges against Alorgan Whittaker Priest, totalling £9B, five against James Harold Adam, totalling £9O. The three accused were charged jointly with conspiring to* defraud Newton King, Ltd., of £1,419 in April, 1926, and £1,20.9 in April, 1927. Alternative charges of the same offences were laid agsainst Henderson and Priest. , Accused pleaded not guilty and reserved their defence. They were committed for trial at the September session of the Supneme Court at New Plymouth, bail being allowed.
