RESIGNATION IN FIJI (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. Noon. SUVA, To-day. Phe Rev. Mr. MacDonald denies the reported withdrawal of his resignation, which was supplied to the Press by Mr. Andrews, president of the Methodist Mission. Mr. MacDonald says the president requested that he in office as missioner till the end of the ministerial year, March, 1929, and Mr. MacDonald consented. “The withdrawal of my resignation could not possibly be considered by me until the report of the commission is made known,” said the minister.
