Diocesan Girls’ Give Successful Dance MANY GUESTS To raise funds for the playing areas of the school, the sixth form of the l -Diocesan Girls’ High School held a \ery enjoyable and successful dance in the Click Clack Cabaret last evening. Miss Jean Macindoe’s amateur syncopators provided cheery dance music, and in appreciation of their services a presentation was made to Miss MacIndoe during the evening. Coloured streamers and shaded lights decorated the ballroom, while downstairs the lounge was fragrant with spring flowers. those who did not care to dance, bridge tables were arranged downstairs. Among the guests were: Mrs. A. E. Ford, gown of black georgette.. and Idee, embroidered with gold thread. Mrs. J. Fraer, gown of crepe faconne of deep amethyst tone, with skirt slightly draped to one side. Mrs. J. J. Kingston, frock of palest leaf green georgette, embroidered with silver beads. Mrs. Abbott, gown of cloth of gold. Mrs. Mahon, dainty frock of black crepe de chine. Mrs. Bert Young, sequined frock of black and gold. Mrs. S. Chatfield, black frock with shawl of floral design. Mrs. O’Connor, frock of cameo pink georgette, with transparent hem of gold lacc, Mrs. Garrett, georgette gown of wistaria mauve georgette. Mrs. Tatley, gown of black georgette and lace, with diamante relief. Mrs. Plummer, gown of black lace and georgette. Mrs. Moorhouse, apricot tinted georgette gown. Mrs. J. Williamson, frock of black georgette, worn over pastel pink, with relief of brilliants. Mrs. Dryden, gown of black georgette and lace. Mrs. Medhurst, black Venetian lace gown, worn over black satin beaute. Mrs. Milne, crepe faconne gown of black, embossed in floral design. Mrs. Hickson, palest primrose ring velvet, gown, with amethyst georgette inset into the skirt. Mrs. Gresham, black crepe de chine gown, relieved with lacquer red. Mrs. Devore, gown of black satin beaute and lace. Mrs. Conlan, moonlight blue georgette frock, with hem of uneven length. Mrs. F. Wilson, gown of black georgette and lace. Mrs. Deeper, black georgette gown, exquisitely beaded, with shoulder spray of gold roses. Miss Webb, frock of scarab Dlue georgette and lace. Miss Beth Stokes, bouffant gown in period style of black taffeta. Miss June Beering, taffeta and tulle frock of Cuban orange. Miss A. Parker, fringed satin gown of pompadour pink. Miss D.
